![]() A new report in the Access Across America series from the Accessibility Observatory estimates the accessibility to jobs by walking in the 50 largest (by population) metropolitan areas in the United States. The report—Access Across America: Walking 2014—presents detailed accessibility values for each of the 50 metropolitan areas, as well as detailed block-level color maps that illustrate the spatial patterns of accessibility within each area. Rankings were determined by a weighted average of accessibility, giving a higher weight to closer jobs. Top 10 accessible metro areas:
