  1. Dave, you missed a Big One. NOT the Power Broker, which George Wickstrom told me is full of post-World War II errors, but Zach Schrag’s wonderful Great Society Subway, which I encourage you to read if you have not already (full disclosure: Zach interviewed me for the book). Zach is a professor of history at George Mason U in Fairfax. The book grew out of his Ph.D. dissertation while he was at Columbia University.
